Weekly TED-pick: Jamie Oliver’s TED Prize wish: Teach every child about food

I remember catching on to Jamie Oliver a long time ago. I loved his shows, his simple approach and his visits to local shops to get good ingredients. I am not much of a cook myself, although I do appreciate it. I just never seem to find the time to do it right.

One thing I do know, is that food has an enormous impact on your quality of life. Foods drive your sense of well-being, and what is in your foods has impact on the way you feel in a lot more ways than just ‘filling your stomach’.

This TED-presentation by Jamie Oliver terrified me. And even if we cannot change the course of an entire country at once, everyone can try and take care of themselves. You are what you eat, so pay attention to your food!
