A new venture from Washington-based startup Liftoff Media, Unhearit uses what it likes to call “the latest in reverse-auditory-melodic-unstickification technology” to help afflicted consumers get stubborn songs out of their heads. Specifically, those currently suffering from the ailment — known as earworm — can visit the site to hear “equally catchy songs,” as Unhearit puts it.

Op 13 en 14 januari 2011 vindt de tweede editie plaats van Un-Convention Groningen. Tijdens het EuroSonic/Noorderslag-weekend presenteert New Music Labs net als vorig jaar twee dagen panels, discussies en workshops. Maar doet ES/NS dat zelf ook niet? Ja. En nee. Waar tijdens de meeste ES/NS-panels oeverloos gebabbeld wordt over de muziekindustrie, focust Un-Convention zich meer op de verhalen achter de muzikanten, boekers en platenbazen. Iets persoonlijker, iets kleinschaliger en het focust meer op nieuwe initiatieven in plaats van de gevestigde industrie.
Deze keer staat Un-Convention Groningen in het teken van pionieren: wie waren de eersten in de muziek, wie hebben er geschiedenis geschreven en vernieuwende stappen gezet, en wie is de eerstvolgende om grenzen in de muziek te verleggen?

Instead, OpenLeaks will work with other publishers, including newspapers and websites around the world, which will asses the newsworthiness of any leaked documents, and edit and redact them as appropriate before releasing them.
